Cedar Note is run by one person as an independent side project, not a company. These terms are kept short on purpose.
The service
Cedar Note is provided as-is and best-effort, with no uptime or support guarantees. It may change, or be discontinued, at any time — if that ever happens, you'll be given a chance to export your notes first wherever possible.
Your account and content
You're responsible for what you store in Cedar Note. Don't use it to store or share content you don't have the right to, and don't use it for anything illegal.
Fair use
Accounts that abuse the service — attempting to break it, access other people's data without permission, or overload it — may be suspended or removed.
No warranty
Cedar Note is provided without warranties of any kind. Use it at your own risk, and keep your own backups of anything important (the built-in export feature makes this easy).
Changes
If these terms change, this page will be updated and the date above will change with it.
