Cedar Note
An encrypted markdown note app for capturing your ideas, connecting them together, and sharing them with the people who matter.
Everything in Cedar Note
- Write & organize — a markdown editor with live preview, a formatting toolbar, and syntax-highlighted code blocks; folders and tags, with drag-and-drop to reorganize.
- Connect your notes — wikilinks and backlinks, visualized in a full graph view.
- Move fast — jump to any note instantly with the quick switcher (Ctrl/Cmd-K), pin favorites for one-click access, and start new notes from templates.
- Share & collaborate — share notes or whole folders as read-only or read/write, or hand out a public link to anyone.
- Your data, protected — encrypted at rest, with full version history and one-click restore, and export anytime — one note, one folder, or everything.
